The significance of Peeta being chosen for a boys tribute in the hunger game is very important because Katniss's family could of died if it wasn't for him burning two loafs of bread and giving it to katniss to support her family when they where on the line of life and death after her dad died. Katniss's dad was the main supply of a food source in the family so once he died Katniss's and her little sister Prims mom was shocked and could provide support for her family and Katniss couldn't let anyone know because if the government found out Katniss and Prim would of been sent into a foster home and Katniss wouldn't let them do that to Prim because it would crush Prims heart.

In the book I am reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins there is an excellent use of  Symbol. The use of the symbol  occurs when Katniss is right about to start the The Hunger Games world wide television show to fight in pride and honour for her district, she turns around and kisses her three fingers and puts them up to the camera, meaning thanks, admiration, good-bye to someone you love.

The social issue that is in the book I am reading now, Class A by Robert Muchamore, would be the use of drugs. "what harm is one snort gunna do?"(page 180). The purpose the social issue has to my story is create suspense and pressure on the mane character James adams, and put his future, family, friends and mission on the line.

   Five main elements in the book The Natural are , action, suspence, romance, drama and humour. the most important element in my opinoin in my book is suspence becasue it makes me wonder and want to read on and doest let be get bored of the book. Action would be the second most important element in my book because it keeps the book interesting and exiting. I like a book that is humorous so it would be my third choice that I would prefer to find in a book. I guess that drama would be the forth choice i'm not really one of those people that try and find drama in a book but I will still probably read it. romance is going to be my fifth because I'm not into romance books at all. Im not very far into the book I am reading but so far it is kind of lacking the amount of suspense I would like to see but I'm sure once i get farther there will be a lot more.  

Identifying

         When I am trying to find a book I normally try and find ones that I  would take an interested in. To find a book that I would be interested in I would either try and find a action novel, adventure novel or a novel that creates quite a lot of suspense. I would take an interest in a book with lots of action because I tend to get bored of books that don't change or stay on the same topic through out the entire book. I like adventure books because I myself like to travel an try new things and be out doors instead of siting inside and playing video games and watching television. I really like a book that creates a lot of suspense, like I said earlier I get bored really fast of a book that is slow and doesn't change, so suspense is a big thing to look for in a book. My personal preference it makes me want to keep reading and it almost puts me in the characters perspective so the book seems more thrilling and exiting. Those are the three main things that attract me to like a book.

    The Lightning Thief is a book that read a while ago i liked this book because it had lots of action through out the whole entire book and was never boring. Another book that i read that had to do with a lot of suspence in my opinion was In The heat of The Night by John ball because i didnt want to put the book down.
