Reflection 

 The video that I have used to show defeat is the song "Wings" by Macklemore. I used this this Music video because the purpose of this song is to show that the boy was so cot up on having the nicest show on the market for basket ball , thinking it would make him better at the sport when really it was in the boy the entire time but Nike had to make him by there product in order to show him that, which is all part of Nike's idea because as long as they are making money they don't really care about who is buying it. This song fits perfectly into my quotation for defeat,  " man is not made for defeat. A man can be destroyed but not defeated"- Ernest Hemingway. This fits perfectly because in the end when the boy saw another boy wearing them it showed that the shoes did not define him the where just scam from nike in order for them to make money. When the boy saw this he was destroyed and couldn't believe that the Nikes that defined him were also defining another boy. At the very end the boy gets another pair of Nikes from under his bed and laces them up to show that these shoes would now define him self from everyone else which shows that man can not be defeated.
